જ્યારે તેજસ્વિનીએ તેની સાઇકલ જોઈ ત્યારે તે બોલી, “વાઉ!” તેને ગૌરવની લાગણી થઈ. તેણે તેનો પગ ડાબા પેડલ પર મૂક્યો અને બોલી ઊઠી “હું આ ચાલી.. વૂ… ઘૂં.” તે વધારે અને વધારે ઝડપથી ચાલી. તે નદીકિનારે ગઈ. તેણે આ ખરબચડા રસ્તા પર સાઇકલ ચલાવવાનો આનંદ માણ્યો.
પેડલ વધારે ઝડપથી લગાવ્યાં અને સાઇકલ ત્રણ … ચાર … પાંચ … પચાસ મીટર ઊંચે ગઈ !! (શી વૉઝ શિલ્ડ. નાઉ શી વૉઝ ફ્લાઇંગ … ઓવર ધ રિવર !! શી લુકડ ડાઉન, “ઓહ! ઇઝ ધેટ અ કાઇટ ઇન ધ રિવર?” ઇટ વૉઝ અ બોટ, શી ટર્ડ ધ લૅન્ડલ ટવૉર્ડઝ હર વિલિજ. શી સૉ હર સ્કૂલ, “ઓહ! નો! ધેઅર આર સો મેનિ લીઝ ઑવ ટ્રીઝ ઑન ધ રૂફ ! આઈ વિલ ક્લીન ધેમ ટમૉરી !” શી થૉટ. વૉટ એલ્સ કુડ સી સી ફ્રૉમ ધેઅર ?)
તે ઉત્તેજિત થઈ ગઈ. હવે તે ઊડતી હતી… નદીની ઉપર !! તેણે નીચે જોયું, “અરે ! શું નદીમાં પતંગ છે?” તે હોડી હતી. તેણે હૅન્ડલને પોતાના ગામ તરફ ફેરવ્યું. તેણે તેની શાળા જોઈ, અરે ! ના! છત ઉપર વૃક્ષોનાં ઘણાં પાંદડાં છે! હું આવતી કાલે તે સાફ કરીશ !” તેણે વિચાર્યું. ત્યાંથી તે બીજું શું જોઈ શકી?
Answer:
Tejasvini could sec the village temple near the river. Some boys were playing cricket on the ground. She could also see the post¬office and the Primary Health Centre. She could also see the village market. It was crowded. As she turned around, she could see her own house.
