Harmonium / Piano
A harmonium is a popular keyboard instrument similar to a pipe organ or accordion. It works by blowing air through air vessels and reeds, which produces pleasant musical notes. There are two main types: foot-pumped and hand-pumped harmoniums. It is widely used across South Asian countries like India, Pakistan, and Nepal. It serves as a key accompanying instrument in classical Hindustani music, Sufi music, Ghazals, and Bhajans.
