Dear Khevana Didi,
I got your letter by the morning post today. You have written about my not replying for a long time. Yes, you are right in guessing the reason. I am facing some problems. Moreover, I did not know how to share and whom to share.
But ultimately I have decided to share those confusions with you because you have been my greatest friend, philosopher and guide in addition to being a great, sweet sister. Our parents are fit and fine.
The first and most important problem faced by me is to decide whether I am a kid or a grown up person. You know, I turned 14 this month.
Yesterday only, when I was playing with my puppy and chasing it, Mummy told me, "You are too old to play with puppies. You are a grown up man now." The same evening, while our parents were discussing about your marriage, I suggested something. Mom told me mockingly that I was too young to give any suggestions. Now, how is it possible that I became 'a grown up man' in the morning and became 'too young' in the evening?
I have also got pimples on my face. That's really terrifying. Please, suggest which cream to use. I also feel some changes as well going on in my body. I am very much confused. I am also much worried about my studies because next year I will be in SSC Board.
Please write back to me as soon as possible. Rest is OK.
Regards. Your loving brother, Spandan
Khevana, 12, University Campus, Ahmedabad - 380009 Dt.: 15th January, 2016
Dear Spandan,
I received your letter yesterday and read about all your confusions. Don't worry at all, my dear brother! Whatever you are experiencing is completely natural for a 14-year-old adolescent.
First of all, regarding parents' comments: teenagers are at a transitional age where they are neither small kids nor full adults. Parents often say such things out of affection and protectiveness, so don't take it to heart.
Secondly, regarding pimples and bodily changes: these are hormonal changes common during adolescence. Do not apply random creams available in advertisement markets. Just wash your face regularly with mild soap and drink plenty of water. If needed, consult a dermatologist.
Lastly, about your SSC Board preparation: stay calm and make a daily study timetable. Focus on one day at a time.
Stay positive and feel free to write to me anytime.
Your loving sister, Khevana
Kiran, yesterday I heard two mosquitoes talking to each other. Mosquito - 1 told Mosquito - 2 why he had not gone the previous night. Mosquito - 2 replied that he had had a fast. Mosquito - 1 proposed that they should attack that boy that day. Mosquito - 2 asked why. Mosquito - 1 said that his blood was very sweet. Mosquito - 2 stated that he would not have his blood. Mosquito - 1 advised him not to miss the chance. Mosquito - 2 told him to enjoy himself and added that he had diabetes.

Dear Diary,
Today was the most embarrassing and eye-opening day of my life. Yesterday, my close friend reported to my father that I had copied in the annual examination. When my father confronted me today, I felt deeply ashamed. He was not angry, but deeply hurt and disappointed in me.
He sat next to me and explained that cheating ruins one's self-confidence and future. I broke down in tears and apologized to him. I realized my mistake and promised him that I will never copy again in my life and will always earn my marks through honest hard work.
